The development and construction of a bespoke stud farm facility for a private Client across 360 acres of the Surrey countryside was a challenging and complex package of works. Each of the 5 main areas consisted of large barns, stabling for over 100 horses in total, horse exercise walkers as well as a complete infrastructure development and 3km of new roads.
Hurstmore were engaged to provide construction personnel for various elements of the work from ground stabilisation activities through to finishing elements on the higher end stud office and uniquely octagonal foaling unit. Additionally Hurstmore provided project management support throughout the 3 year programme to ensure the smooth running of the works in line with the continued operation of a working stud farm.
